Capricorn () is the tenth astrological sign in the zodiac, originating from the constellation of Capricornus. It spans the 270–300th degree of the zodiac, corresponding to celestial longitude. Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn. Under the tropical zodiac, the sun transits this area from December 22 to January 19 each year, and under the sidereal zodiac, the sun currently transits the constellation of Capricorn from approximately January 15 to February 14. In astrology, Capricorn is considered an earth sign, introvert sign, and one of the four cardinal signs. Capricorns are often mistaken as boring people. This is a typical stereo type. Every sign has one and quite often it's not true. Capricorns like to be social and feel included. They try to be an outgoing person but when you first meet them they are going to come across very shy and innocent but once you get to know they come across as more of a carefree soul. Capricorn's are very confusing and complicated people. They are very good at hiding their true feelings, but are super emotional on the inside and nobody knows. They care what people think, and hate being doubted. They like to get the job done. They are reserved people and want nothing more but to fit in. When they trust you and are comfortable around you they tend to be more open and free to be them self. Make them feel good about them self. They emerge from positive vibes and self confidence. Capricorn-Sagittarius cusps (those born from December 22 to December 28) are considered to be slightly different from the typical Capricorn, being more outgoing, jovial and less ambitious and money-orientated than the Capricorn who is not born on a cusp.
