Angels look in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. They are not cute, small cherubs with small bows and arrows. Plus they do not sit heavenly clouds, playing harps. Angels are God’s messengers and warriors, sent to earth to protect and let individuals His children.
Aren’t all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? ~ Heb. 1:14
BeholdI send an Angel before thee, to keep you in the manner, and to bring you to the place which I’ve ready. ~ Ex. 23:20
He will give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. ~ Ps. ~ Ps. ~ Ps.
There are over 280 references to angels in the Bible. Daniel said angels closed the lion’s mouths. Jacob saw a ladder attached to heaven with angels going up and down. They seemed to Abraham and Lot to frighten of this destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. They aided Isaac get a spouse, ceased Balaam from false prophecy, and shielded the Israelites through many trials. There are scores of cases of angelic intervention.

Soon after Mary’s angelic visitation, an angel came to vow Joseph, telling him to’fear not’. Fear weakens religion and brings us away from the security and deliverance God provides.
Oh the early night of Jesus’ arrival, masterminded from God to ensure Joseph and Mary were at the perfect place at the perfect time to validate the prophecies of his arrival in Bethlehem, heaps of angels were present to herald the arrival and guard the parents along with babe from any potential injury. In addition they announced God’s released winner for mankind.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon [the shepherds], and also the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
Jesus’ death and resurrection were still years off, but God, calling things which aren’t as though they had been , announced, by his angels, His aim. He had been done with anger and punishment, announcing peace and decent will – unchanging winner and love – toward most people.
Angels were present in each point of Jesus’ life. He had been a young kid (Matt. 2) by the time that the Wise Men finished their travel from the east. (Recall, Herod killed all kids two and under.) They funded the household’s trip to Egypt with expensive presents. Gold, frankincense and myrrh have been cited, but there likely were . Nowhere does it say how many wise men were there; likely an whole caravan made the trip. Three guys alone wouldn’t have undertaken such a dangerous and protracted excursion.

Joseph and his family were well provided to their stay in Egypt and also for the return trip home. God always financing His aims -‘exceeding abundantly above all we could expect, ask or think’ (Eph. 3:20). Psalm 23 states that your’cup runneth over’ – since God wants you to get more than sufficient.
Following Jesus’ baptism, Satan tried what Herod couldn’t reach. He quoted scripture to Jesus in the jungle, hoping to lure Him to check His angelic protection.
And he [satan] brought [Jesus] into Jerusalem, and put him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence: For it is written, He will give His angels charge over thee to keep thee, and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a rock.
During that trial, Jesus responded to Satan’s temptations by quoting in the Torah, God’s written word to the Hebrews. He knew the power of Word.
And he had been there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.
Jesus needed to defy those temptations to be the best sacrifice required to buy our salvation. He understood angels were present nevertheless, and trusted from the love and mercy of God to maintain Him powerful. When Satan eventually quit in shame, angels looked instantly and’ministered unto him’. They made certain that Jesus’ every need was fulfilled.
Before the end of his life, angels were present to minister to strengthen Him. At the Garden of Gethsemane, praying great drops of blood, He also knew he had a decision. He’s said,”Enough”, and God’s love could have eliminated Him out of the agony which was ahead. However, Jesus’ love for us was great as God’s.
Thinkest thou that I can’t now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? ~ Matt.
They comforted people who reached the tomb, seeking Jesus, ministering calmness and expect to Mary and the disciples.
And, behold, there was a excellent earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and stumbled upon it… And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. ~ Matt.
But Mary stood without at the sepulcher weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulcher, And saw two angels in white sitting, the one in the head, and another in the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
When they found not his body, they came, saying, that they’d also seen a vision of angels, which said he was living.
Angels were included with Jesus from prior to His birth through His crucifixion and resurrection. Now they’re free to roam the ground and minister to people, the heirs of salvation.
[Jesus] Who is gone into heaven, and is on the ideal hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Jesus is our High Priest, enabled to find our voice (His Word in our mouths) come to pass. The Word is known as the’sword of the soul’. It’s our very best weapon against the devil’s attacks also it releases angels to operate on our behalf. They’re ever-present, prepared to move if they hear God’s Word spoken out of our lips.

Legions of angels are found in the world to protect, shield, ministry to and show us God’s plan. If you have ever been at a possibly terrible auto accident and walked off, know his angels cushioned you. If you have ever had a recovery or fiscal breakthrough, then be aware that God’s angels bettering your own miracle. They’re here to minister for us, the heirs of salvation (Heb. 1:14).
