Emily Rose was a woman that was intelligent, loving, and Catholic. When she was around 19 years old, she came under a satanic attack and got demon-possessed. Despite the help of man psychiatrists, priests, and people, she died of what some people say was dehydration and malnutrition. The strange thing about this story is that she did not die of natural causes. A psychiatrist that tried to help her said that it was not something that he could help Emily with. He agreed that she was demon-possessed and needed the help of the church and not a psychiatrist. No matter what medications they gave to Emily, nothing worked. She would make strange screeching sounds and be known to eat dead birds, and spiders and lick her own urine off the floor. Her body was seen by several witnesses to bend in inhuman conditions and even had stigmata on her hands at one point. When a priest tried to perform an exorcism on her, he failed. Even to this day, this story is not easily explained or understood.

There is no true explanation as to why this happens. All that I know is that Jesus tells his followers to cast these demons out of a person. At one time in the Bible, Jesus cast out a demon from a man and sent them into a herd of pigs. Jesus understood demons and their power.
Most people don’t know it, but every Catholic diocese is given an exorcist. I don’t know why an exorcist would be called for some cases and not others. What is clear is that the church still recognizes demon possession. Satan is a real being and so are demonic spirits.
On several haunted house investigations, I have recorded the voices of these demons. They are not pleasant to hear and it proved to me that they exist. There is an in-between world beyond what we can see. In it is living souls, demons, and perhaps other entities. I don’t know exactly why these spirits are here, but I know that they exist.
There is no reasonable explanation as to why some people get possessed, haunted, or chosen by the devil to attack. The only conclusion that we can draw from this is that they exist and millions of people can attest to the fact that they are real.
What happened to Emily Rose could happen to anyone. In order to protect yourself from a demonic attack, it is necessary to ask Jesus to protect you and to call upon his name each day.
